The rule is pretty straightforward – tap when the kitty crosses the green circle.

With poor reaction speed (like me), it can be tough despite the checkpoints and three lives. But this isn’t a full-blown rhythm game so there is a loophole that can be used.

• There’s no penalty for slightly early or late taps. Besides not getting a combo.
• Purrfects (perfect on-time taps) combos are only counted while the game is running and there’s no purrfect high score upon completion.
• They don’t affect the amount of diamonds or stars received. All diamonds and stars are awarded as long as the kitty reaches the end.

So if it’s tough to time the taps to the green circles, constantly tapping the screen at a fast pace throughout the duration of the song is an easy way to reach the end.
