[Cultist Simulator] Using the Debug Console

Use the shortcut to open the debug console: Ctrl + `

Below are some examples of what can be done with the console. Non-exhaustive.

Table of Contents

Creating an element

1. Click the shorter black bar and type in the Element ID.
For example, to get a “Leo, a Tarantellist” card, type “leo_d”. Some IDs can be found in the Cultist Simulator wiki.

2. Select the corresponding item in the dropdown list that will appear if you typed in a valid ID.

3. Select CREATE ELEMENT – the first button in the E row.

4. A card will appear in the black square above. Click and drag it onto the playing field.

Destroying/Purging an element

Say, you don’t want the element you created anymore. If it’s still in the black square and hasn’t been dragged onto the playing field, simply click DESTROY ELEMENT – the second button in the E row. If there are multiple elements in the black square, each click will remove the topmost element and its consecutive duplicates.

If it’s an element that exists on the playing field, enter its Element ID in the console before clicking PURGE ELEMENT – the last button in the E row. Each click removes 1 corresponding card. For relevant cards, this functions similar to ‘decay’. For example, if you PURGE a Damning Evidence (ID: evidenceb), it will decay into Tentative Evidence (ID: evidence).

Ending the game

Useful for achievement hunters. If you achieved your goals or for whatever reason want to end a game prematurely, END – first button of the X row, is at your service.
