[ZS Dead Detective] Roving Eyes – Other Endings

Interpreting the deductions differently allows you to draw different conclusions. Different conclusions give SLIGHTLY different endings. Thus this walkthrough is about drawing the other conclusions. Deductions that don’t affect a particular conclusion are removed. You can load your autosave/save file instead of playing all over again.

#1 – Burr, the jeweller, stole the emeralds


2. All the guests of the hotel were in the vicinity when the black-out happened + The black-out was not caused by a short-circuit. It was intentional
One of the guests could have left the room for a short moment (✓)
There might be someone else hiding inside the hotel

4. Burr has shown interest for Bah’s emeralds since the very beginning + Chrltt was the closest to Bah when the black-out happened
Chrllt was in the right place to steal the emeralds (✓)
Chrllt’s Bah’s friend, and Burr’s interest is strictly professional

5. In the ash tray on the upper floor there’s a cigar of the same brand that Burr smokes + Burr claims that, during the black-out, he was on the upper floor, smoking

Burr has an alibi. He can’t be the culprit

6. Bah organised this party to show off her new emeralds +Burr was invited by Bah’s friend, Chrltt

#2 – Rasp, the butler, stole the emeralds


1. Rasp, the butler, is not willing to help to search for the emeralds + Rasp was the first one to leave the crime scene 
Rasp cares about Bah but he’s not worried about the recent theft
Rasp doesn’t particularly care about Bah (✓)

3. Bah claims there are only three employees in the hotel at the moment + There are four rooms for the staff inside Bah’s hotel

Bah indebted herself to buy the emeralds (✓)
